Trent Emerick, MD, MBA

Dr. Trent Emerick currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, Clinical and Translational Science, and Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and School of Medicine. He is the Fellowship Director for the Chronic Pain Fellowship and serves as the Medical Director and Associate Chief of the Chronic Pain Division. Dr. Emerick is board-certified in Anesthesiology, Chronic Pain Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He practices full-time in both outpatient and inpatient pain medicine and has a significant interest in clinical neuromodulation technology to assist patients.

Dr. Emerick received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Additionally, he earned an MBA from Penn State University Behrend Campus and is Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified through the American Society of Quality.
